Now in its eighth year of operation, the Gallery has become an influential presence on the Rhode Island art scene. The Gallery is dedicated to showcasing fine art and design, both local and national, and creating a synergistic relationship between artists and art lovers. Gallerist Candita Clayton is dedicated to discovering and promoting both emerging and mid-to-late-career artists from Rhode Island and beyond, and believes that art should - and can - be accessible to everyone. In addition to creating public gallery shows, she also works with local and national designers to create interior spaces which feature fine art as a prominent design element.

The Space

Did you know that the Gallery is available as an event space for weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, business meetings, workshops, and other gatherings? Whether you're putting together an elegant dinner or a casual gathering of professionals, our Gallery offers a unique, open, functional space that can be designed to suit any taste. Our beautiful, historic building is located right off the highway, and provides plenty of parking on the street and in the Hope Artiste Village lots.
