We are two school teachers from Illinois who fell head over heels in love first with each other and then with our favorite lMississippi River town. In our spare time, we love sitting together on our porch and looking out at the beauty of the Mississippi River or hiking in the many beautiful natural areas around the area. Kelli is a gardener and lover of birds and other wildlife. Jennifer is an artist who enjoys creating new things: theatre, film, painting, writing, and music.

The Space

Check out this wedding chapel and event venue with tons of natural light. Our beautiful chapel was built in 1880 and boasts stunning stained glass windows, wood floors and unbelievable hand carved wood details. We host a featured artist every quarter, so the space will be filled with a gallery of original artwork. We have a large gathering space and an all gender restroom and small office/preparation area. Our space does not have a specific religious affiliation, and we are inclusive in our rental policies.

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

The safety and well being of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to the overall well-being of our guests and have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We refer to the ever-evolving recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement cleaning procedures that help to reduce the spread of illness. While our space is in use we ask to please follow these hygiene guidelines: Wash your hands frequently and properly (hand soap and paper towels provided) Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days. Social distancing We are strongly encouraging our guests to keep social distancing while meeting at our space and will not allow bookings for more participants than the current regional and State of Illinois regulations allow. The cost for a building host is $40/hour. Basic cleaning fees are included in the booking fee. If a building host is not provided, there is an additional $75 damage and cleaning deposit. Wedding or other event officiant services and/or planning and support services can be provided for an additional fee - usually approximately $100-150/event.

An event manager can be provided at a rate of $40/hour (availability permitting).There is a $75 cleaning and damage deposit.We can assist you with identifying local vendors that can meet your needs for professional photography and/or food.Trash removal and recycling are included, provided the quantity is not greater than our large totes. Additional garbage and recycling fees will be applied to rentals that exceed our capacity.
