I am a freelance filmmaker who has a lovely home and garden in the lower Berkeley Hills. I've always enjoyed hosting events and cooking so that's what brings me to Splacer. When folks see our view they often say "WOW, you should rent this place out!" and now I am, thanks to Splacer.

The Space

You'll love our minimalist, modern space and gorgeous garden. The view is STUNNING and our lower Berkeley Hills location is ideal for all kinds of gatherings. This is the perfect place for special corporate events or any kind of garden party. We also have a great outdoor sound system so you can dance the night away under the stars if you like. Please note that we offer in-house, delicious catering and artisan cocktails plus additional event related services. There is a minimum food/drink order of $400 when you book this space.

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

The safety and well being of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to the overall wellbeing of our guests and have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We have updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of the COVID-19 spread on our guests and employees. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: Cleaning We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: Our staff is following the cleaning and hygiene guidance recommended by the CDC. We are thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant. We use detergent to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, we spray with a disinfectant. We are providing hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes to our guests. We provide essential amenities such as hand soap, paper towels, and tissues, a trash can with foot pedal, etc. We ventilate the space before cleaning and it was used. Hygiene While our space is in use we ask to please follow these hygiene guidelines: Wash your hands frequently and properly Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer regularly Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues If You Are Sick For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days. Event Services Our vendors providing food and beverages, and other even services, are following our Health & Safety Policy guidelines. I love to create delicious California cuisine with a soulful, international twist. Some of the items on my menus are: miso chicken wings, fig-olive tapenade, blackberry & goat cheese puffs, etc. I charge $18 per person for appetizers, $16 pp for my teatime menu, $30 pp for buffet brunch/lunch/dinner menus. I also make excellent, fresh juice infused cocktails for $16 pp. Lastly, I am a talented freelance videographer and photographer who is happy to document your event for flat fee of $900.
