The Space
The Box SF’s 3rd floor offers two rooms for your event: The Main Room and The Gate Room (with our 335 year old Chinese gate table). Both rooms are included in your rental time and can accommodate up to 50 guests. The rental times are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to Midnight. These 8 hour blocks include time for set up and break down of your event. Additional hours can be purchased upon availability if needed. Your rental includes the selected space in our venue for your chosen 8 hour time slot, an on-site venue manager, WiFi, the use of our antique Chinese Gate table, our historic freight elevator, and a cleaning fee. Door security is required for events after 6 PM. A 20% service fee will be added to your event grand total that includes: production time, coordinating your event, time spent coordinating with vendors, internal planning for space set up and reset, as well as adjusting time schedules and accommodating any last minute details we may run into. It also includes an on-site venue manager for the duration of your event. For each event, we do require a Special Event Liability Insurance for $300, however, you are more than welcome to provide your own from a private source with our necessary policy coverages. The Box SF is a Full Service Event Production Company, we are able to provide: Catering (menus available upon request) Bar (low, mid, and top shelf options, as well as special requests) Furniture and Linen Rentals Full A/V and Technical Rentals and Buildout
