I am a vegan chef. I owned a food business for over 15 years. I was a caterer in NYC for a popular food business prior to that. I am now a private chef and food consultant. The "Great Room" and loft of my home were once a barn on a large estate, dating back to the 1800's. All the original wood and stone are still here. There is a high, exposed, cedar planked ceiling in the "Great Room" as well as an iron spiral staircase leading to a loft that overlooks the "Great Room".

The Space

The "Great Room" and loft of our home were once a barn on a large estate, dating back to the 1800's. In the 1960's the kitchen, the master bedroom and bathroom and the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were added on to turn the barn into a home. All the original wood and stone are still here. There is a high, exposed, cedar planked ceiling in the "Great Room" as well as an iron spiral staircase leading to a loft that overlooks the "Great Room". The cross beams and even the iron hooks where they would tie the animals are all still here. There are large sliding glass doors on either side of the "Great Room" as well as floor to ceiling windows on the opposite wall-all providing nice natural lighting, in addition to a sky light. There are skylights in two upstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom as well. The house is completely empty and fully accessible. It is prefect for a movie set, film shoot or wedding. No need to move anything, just bring your equipment, set or rentals.

The safety and well being of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to the overall wellbeing of our guests and have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We have updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of the COVID-19 spread on our guests and employees. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: Cleaning We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: Our staff is following the cleaning and hygiene guidance recommended by the CDC We are thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant We use detergent to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, we spray with a disinfectant. While our space is in use we ask to please follow these hygiene guidelines: Wash your hands frequently and properly Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer regularly Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues If You Are Sick For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days. Event Services Our vendors providing food and beverages, and other even services, are following our Health & Safety Policy guidelines.
