The Space

Our property is an extraordinary space in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Often used as a TV and Film location, the property features a 1922 Beverly Hills mansion moved to the property in 1956! It's main room has been restored to its former glory and offers a unique venue for events large and small. While the description features the mansion there is a large yard area with additional space for larger events such as car shows and other events requiring open space.

The safety and well-being of our clients, guests, and staff are of utmost importance. This Health and Safety Policy has been established to outline our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all events held at our venue. All clients, event organizers, vendors, and attendees are expected to adhere to the guidelines outlined in this policy to ensure a successful and secure event. **2. The Hacienda Northridge is responsible for implementing and maintaining the health and safety procedures outlined in this policy. They will ensure that all staff members are trained and aware of their roles in maintaining a safe environment. - **Event Organizers:** Event organizers are responsible for understanding and communicating the venue's health and safety policies to all vendors, contractors, and attendees of their event. They should also work closely with the venue management to address any specific safety concerns related to their event. - **Vendors and Contractors:** Vendors and contractors working at the event venue must comply with all safety regulations, standards, and guidelines set forth by the venue management. This includes proper setup, teardown, and adherence to fire, electrical, and structural safety protocols. - **Attendees:** All event attendees are expected to follow the safety guidelines provided by the event organizers and venue staff. This includes proper use of facilities, adhering to crowd management instructions, and reporting any safety concerns. **3. **Emergency Contacts:** Important emergency contact numbers for medical assistance, fire department, and law enforcement will be prominently displayed throughout the venue. **Medical Assistance:** First aid kits are available at designated points within the venue. Trained medical personnel can be provided on-site during events. **4. Fire Safety:** - **Fire Exits:** All fire exits will be clearly marked and free of obstruction. Fire exit doors should never be propped open during events. - **Fire Suppression Equipment:** Fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems will be regularly inspected and maintained. Only trained personnel should use fire extinguishers. - **Smoking Policy:** Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Designated smoking areas, if applicable, will be clearly marked and maintained in accordance with local regulations. **5. Crowd Management:** - **Capacity Limits:** Events must adhere to the venue's approved maximum occupancy limits to prevent overcrowding. - **Entrances and Exits:** Entrances and exits will be clearly marked and monitored to ensure smooth flow of traffic during entry and exit. - **Barrier and Signage:** Barriers, ropes, and signage will be used to guide attendees and manage queues, if necessary. **6. **Facility Cleanliness:** The venue will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each event, with a focus on high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and restroom fixtures. **7. Accessibility:** - **ADA Compliance:** The venue is committed to providing accessible facilities for individuals with disabilities, including ramps and designated seating areas. **8. COVID-19 Considerations (if applicable):** - **Health Screenings:** Temperature checks or health screenings may be implemented based on prevailing guidelines. - **Mask Mandate:** In accordance with local guidelines, masks may be required for all attendees and staff. - **Physical Distancing:** Adequate spacing and seating arrangements will be in place to promote physical distancing. **9. Communication:** **Safety Briefing:** Event organizers will conduct safety briefings for their staff and vendors prior to the event. **10. We provide additional services as options. Please advise us of what needs you may have other than the basic rental of the property. If additional personnel or security is needed that would be an extra applied to the rental. While there are several working restrooms, for large events (over 100 participants) porta potties would need to be rented.
