The Space

The Gesner Cocoon location offers a spacious private and peaceful setting with spectacular mountain views. Located three miles from the Pacific Ocean. Designed by the world-renowned architect Harry Gesner. It compliments and blends in with the site’s natural surroundings and pristine environment. This Aerodynamic Gesner design inspired the Sydney opera house. The wood deck is complimented with a large renaissance fire caldron. The interior design is comprised of elegant arched areas. A kitchenet, Living room, bedroom, bathroom, and dressing room. There is a spacious hilltop deck and spa with panoramic views and custom seating. The spa has a retractable wood cover for additional site space. A lower campfire space is surrounded by large natural boulders. This includes custom reclining benches, accent lighting. There are numerous unique relaxing spaces with hammocks, natural seating, and a day bed area. Wonderful trees, plants, and rock landscaping accent the site spaces. This property has several bathrooms and staging areas. Office space and a crew bathroom. Free Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor power outlets. 240 Volt power is available. It is perfect for events as a private escape with the freedom to explore many wide-open spaces. Directions: This 12-acre site is located with-in the Los Angeles 30-Mile Studio Zone. Located on the Mulholland scenic highway in unincorporated Malibu, Los Angeles County. 6 minutes from the Pacific Coast Highway and 18 minutes from Westlake Village. Please ask for our brochure for simple directions to the location to make your trip easy. Free Wi-Fi, comfortable upper parking for 25 cars or several large event RV’s. We are upgrading to Star Link which will provide Higher Band Width. Street parking for 15 cars. The property is fully sanitized after each event. Walk the serene and peaceful hiking and equestrian trails among the amazing spring flowers! Very quick food delivery services are available through Door-Dash, Postmates, Grub-Hub and others.
