This MidCentury treetop house is a secluded creative haven. It has 2000 square feet of interior space, with an additional 1600 sq feet of deck. Perched high in Benedict canyon, it has an uninterupted view of nature; yet almost impossible to believe that it's in Beverly Hills. It's the perfect place for your secluded celebrity shoot. This unique bohemian home encompasses the organic freedom of a California lifestyle.

A truly a one-of-a-kind three story 1920's residence with many original features, nuances, and classic Hollywood Hills aesthetic throughout. Primarily south facing, the property is bright with multiple terraces, secluded spaces, and intimate settings. Beautiful arched windows, French doors, spiral stairs, high ceilings, and original hardware. Features a beautiful courtyard and front yard with palm trees and incredible views of Hollywood hills, mountains and city lights. Chic and uniquely decorated with high end Italian and vintage design pieces and furniture. Sparse enough that you can add your own set design or use any of our photo enhancing pieces. The house is very large (2,684 sq ft) with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large entryway, living room with 30 foot ceilings, and a dining room that opens onto the courtyard. It is three levels. The living room/entryway are first, dining, and courtyard on second and bedrooms on third. Photoshoot features: It has two addresses so there is plenty of parking on both streets. Sonos speakers throughout the house. Second bedroom is great for styling. Vanity area for glam. I am a photographer myself and have had the pleasure of shooting here many times. Although the building is equipped with fire sprinklers, the Studio is located in a potentially flammable historic building. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. Absolutely no smoking or vaping or use of alcohol anywhere on the premises. Any breaking of this rule, by you or your guests, will result in a $500.00 fine. Also, any confetti or confetti sprinklers used will have a $300.00 fine.

This striking space is part of a 16-unit complex designed between 1926 and 1939 by R.M. Schindler​, one of the forefathers of Modern architecture, on a street-to-street downward sloping lot in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Schindler’s client for the project was his friend Herman Sachs, a Romanian-born muralist and decorator known for his work on the Bullocks Wilshire Building, Union Station, and City Hall. Synonymous with old Hollywood glamour, the apartment at this Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument feels like being in a bygone era. It’s an inspiring space, with improbably high ceilings and a huge window showcasing the unobstructed views overlooking Los Feliz, the iconic Hollywood sign, and the Griffith Observatory. The space employs extensive use of glass, plaster, and wood – characteristics of the Modernist style with which Schindler is usually associated – in addition to a distinctive art deco flair. Sachs was known for using his studio loft workspace as a gathering space, often hosting dinners and concerts for his coterie of bohemian friends. During a painstaking three year restoration, the original cabinetry, finishes, and Schindler-designed furniture were carefully researched and, wherever possible, restored or re-created. The first floor space has an airy, open concept living/dining room and full kitchen, in addition to a half bath and large closet/storage space (in addition to a Origin Acoustics 7.1 surround-sound speaker system with six recessed speakers and subwoofer, Paradigm soundbar, high-end projector, and hanging art installation system. Use of these features may be possible, depending on the intended usage). The second floor space has a sleeping space with daybed, full bathroom, and entryway/office that is ideal for hair and makeup. Schindler was a genius at window placement - natural light streams throughout every nook and cranny of the apartment. The Platform Home designed furniture (tables, stacking chairs, couch, hexagon seater, stools, daybed, etc.) has been selected for easy breakdown or reconfiguration, making the apartment an ideal setting for a multitude of shoots and events.

Artist Studio in Treehouse Cabin with natural trails on spacious property Nestled in the heart of Topanga this 2 acres property features a rustic treehouse cabin with a large artist studio on the second level. The studio area has vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, 2 skylights, bamboo floors, 3 glass sliding doors and lots of natural light. The studio also has a wood deck that wraps around 2 sides of the structure, overlooking the creek. Below the studio treehouse, there is an open-air space with concrete floors that works great for staging and other various production needs. This area has optional canvas curtains for more privacy and can also be utilized for filming if it fits your location needs. This treehouse studio is situated in the center of our grounds offering easy access to all other areas around the property! Surrounding the treehouse there is a large yard that can be used and shot in various ways. Set builds are okay in this outdoor space with prior discussion and approval. The other exterior areas of the property are easily walkable and include a natural wood bridge that overlooks the natural creek-bed, which winds through the heart of the property. With several access points, this creek-bed creates our own private hiking trail encompassed with enchanting oaks, sycamores, and eucalyptus trees. There are also several vantages points to shoot the creek from high angles. Additional interior areas may be available upon request and on a case by case basis. A generator is available onsite for excess power capabilities. The on-site manager will also be available during shoots. Parking for up to 9 vehicles or 4 trailers on site, as well as street parking available on the boulevard. There is a nearby lot ( 2 min drive) available for rent for multiple large trailers, production trucks, and shuttle service. This property has been used in several films including Prizzi's Honor directed by John Huston. Our space is a historic landmark, a Classic French Chateau in the heart of LA featured in major films and photoshoots. This beautiful home welcomes you with a spiral iron and wood staircase circling a large beautiful chandelier over a marble checkered floor in its entry hall. It's tall ceilings, marble fire places, grand mirrors and intricate moldings in both the Living Room and Dining Room and the vintage elevator with accordion gates are exquisite contexts telling a story of another time. The pool has been given the name by its visitors, LA's secret garden. Ficus trees and trimmed boxwood line the walls of vines, its greenery complementing the home's tall French doors, round bay windows and detailed architectural accents. Please note filming, if a larger group, is at an increased rate customized based on size of production.

This dreamy loft space boasts 12 foot ceilings, polished concrete floors, and fantastic natural light all day long thanks to the charming 50 foot wall of eight large southeast facing windows. This gorgeous, sun-drenched, open spaced DTLA loft will inspire you everywhere you look! This downtown studio is perfect for photo and video shoots including: Editorial, Fashion, Beauty, Portrait, Product, Headshot, Commercial, Film, Kickstarter, Video, Promotional, Documentary, TV series, Web Series, Podcast, YouTube, Instagram, etc. It’s worth noting that the light is especially gorgeous, flooding into the space as early as 7am (these images were taken at 10:30 am) Also, the light can be controlled with black out shades if needed. To amplify the vitality of the space, you’ll also find many happy and healthy natural plants here. The projector is an especially interesting touch, and a cool addition to photoshoots and events. We have excellent parking and load-in accommodations. Parking is $8 flat rate for all day in the parking lot downstairs. We have a loading area with access to an elevator to make loading easy. IMPORTANT Booked hours must include load-in/load-out, set up, and tear-down or 1.5x overtime fees will apply in 30 minute increments. There is no free overtime. BOOKED HOURS Hours are calculated when the first person arrives and last person leaves. No refunds for any unused time. PARKING Parking is not included with your booking and it is a separate fee. Parking lots are independently operated and we are not responsible for any theft or damage. Several other parking lots with a flat all-day rate exist across the studio, street meters, and yellow commercial loading zones at the building’s entrance. ELEVATOR The elevator is shared among all tenants, it is on a first come first served basis, its use cannot be reserved during the standard hours of operation, requires a staff member. LOAD-IN / LOAD-OUT The elevator is accessible via the Santee alley entrance and vehicles/trucks usually park in alley by the entrance. Vehicles should be moved after unloading/loading to avoid parking tickets. SECURITY CAMERAS Please do not touch, cover or unplug the security cameras. Footage is strictly confidential and recorded 24/7.
