Close to lots of restaurants and Trader Joes. 2 AC's (Heat&Cold) one on each floor. Sonos speakers throughout the whole loft. Fridge with Ice making This high-end penthouse designed for classy gatherings, If you're looking to have a dance party this loft is not for you. Music has to be down at 11pm sharp ( special days like NYE, Halloween, etc can go later) and your guests must be out by the same time, You can stay pass 11pm to clean up. we have a minimum of 5 hours per event when booking over the weekend. Time frame\over time: Sharp check-in & out - We charge 1.5% of our asking rate for over time You pay by the hour,(N\A for day rate customers) the time frame on your booking is the time you allow to use the loft, any additional time will follow by additional charges. please include set up & clean up in your booking time frame. *The MAROCCAN LOUNGE in the picture is one of our rental options and not part of our standard set up. *WE DON’T ALLOW THE USE OF ANY SPEAKERS\AMP’S OTHER THAN THE ONES WE PROVIDE - 500$ FINE WILL BE APPLIED FOR BREAKING THIS RULE! LEAVE NO TRACE: You're in charge to return the loft exactly the way you got it. Your cleaning fee only covers basic preparation and clean up (floors and bathroom) you’ll have to pick up all trash around the loft (trash bags provided) and leave the bags next to the door for the cleaners to take out. Additional cleaning fee will be added to your booking In case extra cleaning is required. We assign a privet security guard to any event with over 20ppl. The guard will be welcoming your guests in a formal suit and walk them up to the loft. During the event, he will be standing outside monitoring the hallways. This will add great value to your event and will ensure the success of our format as a hidden “speakeasy”. We add 200$ per event to cover the cost of the security guard DJ: We allow DJ’s in the loft, we use Sonos Amp to connect the DJ to our in-house speakers. We have a designated DJ table located on the top floor of the loft. (see in photos) Alcohol: We allow you to bring your own alcohol but we don't allow selling alcohol. Parking: There's a few vale parking lots on our street one of them is attached to the left-hand side of the building, The lots are not part and charge between 7-10$ per car for the day. The history is ripe with the lore, tradition and curiosity that makes its home in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles a place of intrigue and wonder and a place we have always cherished. The 9,000 sq. ft home was originally built in 1926 as a Prop Design Studio for film and television, the Spanish Colonial style building has an heir of both elegance and comfort daftly mimicking its current owner’s temperament and style. Following that storied use of the building and for the next twenty-five years, the building was a violin factory producing thousands of violins and violas for schools throughout the country. In 1967, some fifty years ago, Costume Designer Rita Riggs purchased the building and made it her studio for her work with everyone from Alfred Hitchcock to Norman Lear and many, many more in between. Rita predated the current interest in Shared Community Office space by offering space to a select group of design professionals that understood her passion and talent for high design and an interest in making a true community out of the workplace. Organically, gracefully and with no pretense, Rita was way, way, way, ahead of her time. Recently, the building was painstakingly restored to its former glory by Architects who are 30 year inhabitants of the this very special building. It's now used as a landmark for events, dinners, workshops, film screenings, yoga, coworking, various types of productions and everything in between.

Scandinavian Style Loft Storefront

Our beautiful creative storefront studio has almost 800 square feet of open space, soaring 14 foot ceilings and is minimally & beautifully decorated in a retro Scandinavian style featuring pale wood details and pastel colored accents. It needs hardly any decor at all but is neutral enough to be the blank canvas you're looking for and our street-level windows are north-facing so we get pleasant diffused daylight throughout the day. Overhead lighting includes Hue bulbs by Phillips so that you can tone the lighting to your specific color palette. A Sonos speaker provides any background music you might want but we also have a sound system for performances including speakers, mics w/ stands and a simple sound board. We're located in a friendly and affluent neighborhood surrounded by restaurants and conveniently located near Universal Studios and within walking distance of CBS Radford and the Studio City farmer's market. The entire open space is available to our guests, including a kitchenette featuring a vintage pink fridge, an indoor swing, a stage and a spacious, attractive restroom. We own custom-made plywood tables and about 50 gorgeous pastel colored vintage Heywoodite school chairs. Our furniture is available for your use (free of charge), you must be willing/ able to bring furniture in from our storage space out back and replace when you are finished at the end of your event. You will either be greeted personally by one of our associates or provided with a code to enter through the rear door if your rental is to begin early in the morning or if no one is available at that time. Generally we are more than happy to meet our guests to give the rundown and get you settled and comfortable. For evening/ nighttime events where alcohol is to be served, guests must purchase additional private third party insurance. We recommend www.theeventhelper.com.
