Enter through a restored antique facade with large bay windows into the 1,100 sq ft indoor space with custom barn wood tables, an oversized chesterfield sofa, and an array of plants and decorative accents. Exit to the back door into a 1,500 sq ft “secret garden” with two stages nestled under a thriving willow tree, adorned by rose and ivy-draped walls, more barn wood tables, repurposed church pews, and other gathered pieces. Bluetooth Sound System » The space has 6 Bose speakers installed throughout the space. They are wired from the front entrance to the very back of the garden, so you have continuous sound throughout. All hook up via Bluetooth via receiver. Furniture & Site Visits » All furniture in the photos is included, it cannot be removed from the space. » As the space continues to evolve we may invite new pieces. This would be collected prior to the start of reservation and returned within 48 hours. We may ask for a larger deposit for larger events/productions. Additional insurance may also be required at the discretion of the host. No smoking inside. NO USE OF CANDLES (Other than for cake). ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI. All decorations brought in must be brought out. A fee of $100 - $300 will incur if there is any glitter of confetti or decorations left behind (including in the trash). ⎊ Music/Sound Any sound system/speakers brought into the space must be approved by Danielle. The backyard/garden closes at 10pm. Music volume must remain at a fair volume that will not disturb the neighborhood. All music must be off in backyard/garden by 10pm or when your reservation is complete. Any noise complaints may result in the volume of the music being reduced at our discretion. ⎊ Guests All guests must exit the space when your reservation is complete. It is 100% your responsibility to relay all rules and information to your guests, as well as the timing of your booking. Please ask us about our guest link to help relay essential information. ⎊ Food & Alcohol Alcohol is permitted, but please NO excessive drinking! If you or one of your guests are excessively intoxicated, we may end your reservation early. If you wish to sell alcohol, you would need to obtain a permit from the city. Outside catering is allowed at no extra charge, but please inquire about our catering partners, they are amazing! Please, no drinking games. ⎊ Garbage We will provide plenty of garbage and recycling bags & bins. When your garbage is full, please dispose of it in the designated area. Please try to recycle and most importantly break down any boxes left behind. An extra cleaning fee of $60 will be charged if food, plates, cups, etc. are not thrown out, and boxes are not broken down and put in the designated area. Please place all garbage in the garbage, and we will take care of the rest. UPDATE: We will no longer allow decorations to be thrown in the trash. You have to take any decor away with you. The garbage area and reserved ONLY FOR FOOD WASTE. A fee of $100 - $300 will incur if you leave any decorations in the trash. ⎊ Furniture Please DO NOT MOVE the large wooden table in the center of the room OR the black antique divider. If you move any other furniture inside, please make sure to move it back at the end of your reservation. Any food or beverage stains on any wooden table tops inside or outside will result in additional charges. Please bring table cloths if you don’t feel confident your setup will not damage our tables. A $250 refinishing fee will apply to each damaged table. ⎊ Checkout Please be ready for walkthrough and lock up at the end of your booking time (or agreed up check out time). A fee of $250 will be charged if you are not checked out on time, and an additional $250 will be charged every 30 minutes that the space is still occupied by you or your guests.

Regardless of the actual time of day, the light in the room is controllable, from bright daylight to a subdued evening glow. RECORDING SOUND? It's a new space, and so far has been quiet enough for recording clean audio. That said, we are not a sound stage and can't guarantee that there won't be occasional sounds from the hallway, or a random car horn. Our facility is 2,000 sq ft w/ 15 foot ceilings, designed not only record an orchestra, but also as a creative space to host photo shoots, film screenings, intimate live performances, or VIP listening parties. We are a classic, large-format big room, analog and digital recording studio nestled in South Williamsburg. This hand-built space features Protools HD 32 I/O, 2 inch Studer A827 24 track analog tape machine, a fully restored Harrison 4032c 40-channel analog recording console (same series the Thriller album was recorded on), a baby grand Yamaha piano, an impressive mic collection, and more. Please note while our usual people cap is much higher, we have temporarily capped count at 10 -15 people as per our new COVID-19 protocols to ensure proper social distancing. We have many other measures in place to continue hosting safe productions at our space, including new cleaning / sanitization protocols, placement of HEPA air filters, private testing options with fast turnarounds, etc. Note, use of our control room is now only permitted for special circumstances and for an additional fee. The museum permanent collection room offers an intimate setting with a unique "cabinet of curiosities" ambiance ideal for photography or film shoots. The back yard features a bar, stage, and screen for projection. It has a casual "neighborhoody" feel with lots of classic Brooklyn character while still being a raw space perfect for creative DIYers.

This is an eccentric and aesthetically rich artists loft and a bit of Williamsburg history. Established in 1989, Our open plan loft boasts a sunny southern wall of windows beneath 12ft ceilings where a vast, carefully curated collection of oddities both diverse & prodigious begs the eye to wander. From the walls of antique tools & implements, to hand-crafted vintage furniture, decorative and fine art objects, and taxidermy, it's a collection of collections and an experience not to be missed. Natural light shines on a garden platform with a wicker sofa, wood statuary and a jungle of plants.  The spacious living room area features a long red velvet couch under our iconic tool display, a throne, a fainting couch as well as a large low coffee table. The back section of the loft has a wall of mirrors, a glass cabinet wall showcasing shelves full of oddities, a collection of antique cash registers and candelabras, and a ceiling & wall of beautiful reclaimed tin. The lavatory features a river stone floor, an antique claw foot tub with copper shower enclosure as well as an apothecary collection from the the early nineteen hundreds. In the Conservatory, which is just off the main room through tall double doors, a working 1913 Chickering stand-up piano sits beneath a gallery of historic and contemporary works of art including a collection of nineteenth century family portraits watching over our library of select books. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a wall display of vintage kitchen implements, a refrigerator collaged with 1940s envelopes, and several glass cabinets of various eras.

Great care has been taken in crafting the design of the space, with each room being assigned its unique theme. there are lots of little details and cute objects that can be used as props. It's important to note that the apartment carries a vintage charm, evident in the occasional creaking floorboards and a slight inclination, which some might argue only enhances its character. Last-minute bookings can be challenging to accommodate, as each room is occupied by a housemate. We recommend providing at least a two-week notice to help facilitate smoother arrangements.
