This is an eccentric and aesthetically rich artists loft and a bit of Williamsburg history. Established in 1989, Our open plan loft boasts a sunny southern wall of windows beneath 12ft ceilings where a vast, carefully curated collection of oddities both diverse & prodigious begs the eye to wander. From the walls of antique tools & implements, to hand-crafted vintage furniture, decorative and fine art objects, and taxidermy, it's a collection of collections and an experience not to be missed. Natural light shines on a garden platform with a wicker sofa, wood statuary and a jungle of plants.  The spacious living room area features a long red velvet couch under our iconic tool display, a throne, a fainting couch as well as a large low coffee table. The back section of the loft has a wall of mirrors, a glass cabinet wall showcasing shelves full of oddities, a collection of antique cash registers and candelabras, and a ceiling & wall of beautiful reclaimed tin. The lavatory features a river stone floor, an antique claw foot tub with copper shower enclosure as well as an apothecary collection from the the early nineteen hundreds. In the Conservatory, which is just off the main room through tall double doors, a working 1913 Chickering stand-up piano sits beneath a gallery of historic and contemporary works of art including a collection of nineteenth century family portraits watching over our library of select books. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a wall display of vintage kitchen implements, a refrigerator collaged with 1940s envelopes, and several glass cabinets of various eras.

This means nothing hard to clean like glitter or confetti is found on the floor. That will result in a full loss of deposit. If any alcohol at all is going to be in the space, then you need “host liquor liability insurance”, we can provide a link to purchase that. It is $104. There is lightweight kitchen with sink and dishwasher and small fridge in the front white room. The black room has two custom structures with a gold leaf patterned archways -- one houses a photobooth with a full plant wall, and the other is a DJ booth. ALCOHOL: If you have alcohol at your event there is insurance required for $104, we send instructions for this, it takes around 5mins. (WINE AND BEER ONLY no hard liquor) Your event will fall into one of the following categories: 1. PRIVATE PARTIES with alcohol (non-ticketed, with guest list): Your party must not have a public invite on social media or anywhere online. You must invite your guests directly and provide us with a guest list for our door person. You cannot sell tickets to your event. 2. PUBLIC PARTIES with alcohol (ticketed or non-ticketed). If you advertise your event online and allow rspvs, then you cannot bring your own alcohol. You must use a licensed caterer to provide alcohol if your party is open to the public, has a public invite online and/or if there are tickets being sold. The caterers will have to apply for a permit and they will need to do so 15 days in advance. You will be responsible for making sure the permit is acquired on time, and there is no refund for an event if you do not acquire a permit.
