A 20x20 detached back office with garage is complimented by a large teak deck that has plenty of room for seating. If you are planning an intimate event or meeting this is place to be! The living room in the main house has french doors that open to the backyard facing the office, making for a great breakout room. Furniture can be moved as long as its put back. Free street parking and plenty of on site parking. The driveway can fit at least 8 cars and catering vans can easily back in to the garage where you have access to your own freezer and fridge. *Special Note* The living room in main house is included in the office space as a breakout room or screening room. Iconic mid-century modern 1954 house by world-renowned Case Study architect Pierre Koenig This masterfully crafted property was designed in 1954 by world-renowned Case Study architect Pierre Koenig, who was one of the most influential mid-century modern architects of his time. Koenig eventually became an international design-star with his Case Study House #21 in 1958, the "Bailey House", and in 1959 with CSH #22, the "Stahl House", probably LA's most famous residency. A rare gem tucked away in the hills north of Los Angeles, this early work of Koenig's architectural legacy was his fourth house and commissioned by the Scott family. In 2014, the new owners bought the severely maintenance deferred house and land from the original owner, Aurora Scott, and thoroughly restored it to its former glory and according to Koenig's original plans. It represents the golden age of mid-century modern architecture and features visionary & colorful interior design, sensitively preserved half a century after its conception. 1920's Hollywood Character, Charm, History

The history is ripe with the lore, tradition and curiosity that makes its home in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles a place of intrigue and wonder and a place we have always cherished. The 9,000 sq. ft home was originally built in 1926 as a Prop Design Studio for film and television, the Spanish Colonial style building has an heir of both elegance and comfort daftly mimicking its current owner’s temperament and style. Following that storied use of the building and for the next twenty-five years, the building was a violin factory producing thousands of violins and violas for schools throughout the country. In 1967, some fifty years ago, Costume Designer Rita Riggs purchased the building and made it her studio for her work with everyone from Alfred Hitchcock to Norman Lear and many, many more in between. Rita predated the current interest in Shared Community Office space by offering space to a select group of design professionals that understood her passion and talent for high design and an interest in making a true community out of the workplace. Organically, gracefully and with no pretense, Rita was way, way, way, ahead of her time. Recently, the building was painstakingly restored to its former glory by Architects who are 30 year inhabitants of the this very special building. It's now used as a landmark for events, dinners, workshops, film screenings, yoga, coworking, various types of productions and everything in between.
