Our space is a beautiful sun-lit space that offers endless opportunities for your event. We are a workshop/ retail and communal space and we guarantee that your guests will be inspired as soon as they walk through our doors.
This striking space is part of a 16-unit complex designed between 1926 and 1939 by R.M. Schindler, one of the forefathers of Modern architecture, on a street-to-street downward sloping lot in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Schindler’s client for the project was his friend Herman Sachs, a Romanian-born muralist and decorator known for his work on the Bullocks Wilshire Building, Union Station, and City Hall.
Synonymous with old Hollywood glamour, the apartment at this Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument feels like being in a bygone era. It’s an inspiring space, with improbably high ceilings and a huge window showcasing the unobstructed views overlooking Los Feliz, the iconic Hollywood sign, and the Griffith Observatory. The space employs extensive use of glass, plaster, and wood – characteristics of the Modernist style with which Schindler is usually associated – in addition to a distinctive art deco flair. Sachs was known for using his studio loft workspace as a gathering space, often hosting dinners and concerts for his coterie of bohemian friends.
During a painstaking three year restoration, the original cabinetry, finishes, and Schindler-designed furniture were carefully researched and, wherever possible, restored or re-created. The first floor space has an airy, open concept living/dining room and full kitchen, in addition to a half bath and large closet/storage space (in addition to a Origin Acoustics 7.1 surround-sound speaker system with six recessed speakers and subwoofer, Paradigm soundbar, high-end projector, and hanging art installation system. Use of these features may be possible, depending on the intended usage). The second floor space has a sleeping space with daybed, full bathroom, and entryway/office that is ideal for hair and makeup. Schindler was a genius at window placement - natural light streams throughout every nook and cranny of the apartment. The Platform Home designed furniture (tables, stacking chairs, couch, hexagon seater, stools, daybed, etc.) has been selected for easy breakdown or reconfiguration, making the apartment an ideal setting for a multitude of shoots and events.

Art Deco bank, turned photo studio and event space, featuring its original bank vault built in 1923, elegant 19’ ceilings with authentic pillar sculpture, and custom lighting installations by architectural designer, Brian Thoreen. This 4,300 square foot two-story venue is an ideal space for events, film & photo shoots, and art exhibitions.
With a combination of spectacular view and vintage trailers, the "Tiny Tiki Retro Hideaway" is a unique experience. Enjoy your private event for 8 people or less including all crew, on a sandstone mesa, high above the city lights. Feel welcomed to this hideaway created by designer Julia Borgstrom. A 1954 vintage aluminum trailer, large furnished patio, 2nd vintage trailer and a shady gazebo offer all you need for an unforgettable Splacer event. A fabulously furnished 1954 Spartan Manor, a rare and very collectible 24' trailer is restored to its utmost glory.
The little trailer is an also very rare 1963 wood interior office trailer can be used for a dressing room.
This space was carefully crafted, each step of the curation process was fueled by imagination and creativity. The space emulates a modern, terrarium-like oasis with all of the amenities to serve an array of events from team meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings, small off-site conferences, photo shoots/filming, pop-up shops. The 2,000 sf space includes a live-edge conference table, small office desk, comfortable seating, access to outdoor seating, a kitchen, bathroom, shelving, AC/heating, and beautiful natural lighting. Located on the second floor of the Paseo Colorado shopping mall, foot traffic is light and the surrounding area is extremely safe. Easy access to a multitude of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as hundreds of underground parking spots and street parking. Loading dock and freight elevator access are also available.

Location
We are located on the corner of Main Street and 38th street. The main entrance is on the Main street. The studio is on the first floor and has two entrances and a loading zone, perfect for two vans or one box truck. The entrance doors are approximately 9 feet high, making unloading a breeze. 11 ft high ceiling.
Parking.
Saturday - Sunday: FREE PARKING WITH NO RESTRICTIONS on both the Main and 38th streets!
Monday - Friday:
Plenty of FREE street parking on 38th street. The main street has No Parking from 4 pm - 6 pm.
We also have a LOADING ZONE RIGHT IN FRONT of the studio, which makes loading in and out super easy!
This dreamy loft space boasts 12 foot ceilings, polished concrete floors, and fantastic natural light all day long thanks to the charming 50 foot wall of eight large southeast facing windows. This gorgeous, sun-drenched, open spaced DTLA loft will inspire you everywhere you look! This downtown studio is perfect for photo and video shoots including: Editorial, Fashion, Beauty, Portrait, Product, Headshot, Commercial, Film, Kickstarter, Video, Promotional, Documentary, TV series, Web Series, Podcast, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
It’s worth noting that the light is especially gorgeous, flooding into the space as early as 7am (these images were taken at 10:30 am) Also, the light can be controlled with black out shades if needed. To amplify the vitality of the space, you’ll also find many happy and healthy natural plants here.
The projector is an especially interesting touch, and a cool addition to photoshoots and events.
We have excellent parking and load-in accommodations. Parking is $8 flat rate for all day in the parking lot downstairs. We have a loading area with access to an elevator to make loading easy.
IMPORTANT
Booked hours must include load-in/load-out, set up, and tear-down or 1.5x overtime fees will apply in 30 minute increments. There is no free overtime.
BOOKED HOURS
Hours are calculated when the first person arrives and last person leaves. No refunds for any unused time.
PARKING
Parking is not included with your booking and it is a separate fee. Parking lots are independently operated and we are not responsible for any theft or damage. Several other parking lots with a flat all-day rate exist across the studio, street meters, and yellow commercial loading zones at the building’s entrance.
ELEVATOR
The elevator is shared among all tenants, it is on a first come first served basis, its use cannot be reserved during the standard hours of operation, requires a staff member.
LOAD-IN / LOAD-OUT
The elevator is accessible via the Santee alley entrance and vehicles/trucks usually park in alley by the entrance. Vehicles should be moved after unloading/loading to avoid parking tickets.
SECURITY CAMERAS
Please do not touch, cover or unplug the security cameras. Footage is strictly confidential and recorded 24/7.
Amazing home overlooking the lake!! 7 bedroom and 9 bathroom. The perfect space for any recoding event.
The 1920's house is located in the Hollywood Hills close to public transport. The neighborhood is called the Hollywood Dell and is part of "Old Hollywood." The home is decorated in an eclectic mix of ethnic and European antiques. The large tropical garden is ideal for a shoot that could be either in the jungle or a place owned by a bohemian local. The interior is around 1500 square feet and the lot it sits on is approximately over quarter of an acre.
Pricing is based on 15 person maximum. For larger groups, additional fees will be applied. $100 cleaning/prep fee.

General Rules
• Rate listed is for up to 10 attendees
• All rentals include set up and clean up/ wrap up time, otherwise overtime will be charged at time and 1/2
• The French oak wood flooring is valuable and needs to be kept dry to avoid staining. Guest is responsible for making sure it's kept dry and understand any stains/repairs will be charged to guest.
• High heels may cause damage to the wood flooring and it's not allowed. For photo or video shoots that require high heels, it's is recommended that only at the time and spot of shoot the the heels to be worn at guests own risk and responsibility with understanding that guest may be charged for repair costs or for damaging the floor.
• NO smoking, cannabis, reincarnation drug or similar substance use indoor or outdoor within the property lines.
• If A/C or heating is used, all windows & doors must be closed.
• Moving of furniture is not allowed (moving and putting back is also not allowed) unless discussed and agreed prior. Moving furniture without authorization will be charged at hourly rate per room.
• No fake blood or stain-able products to be used on site. No nails, screws, staples, tape or gummed backed materials may be used to attach or affix anything to the furniture, walls, or building. No glitter or confetti of any kind is allowed on site. No sparklers, Roman candles, or fire producing gags or effects. No face painting, hand paints, stains, or other similar activity allowed.
•. No drinks or food or other damaging objects allowed inside the pool. Any costs related to clean-up of such may be charged at cost plus 1/2 at Hosts discretion. If you will use the pool and need it to be heated there may be an additional charge depending on the season. Please request pool heating at least 2-3 days in advance to allow enough time for the pool to be heated to the temperature that you would like.
• Closets, drawers, pantry, and refrigerator is off limits unless pre-approved by the host.
• No loud music or loud talking in the backyard after 10pm weeknights or 11pm weekends.
• Rate listed is for up to 10 attendees, additional attendees will be charged $600 per person
• Guests MUST provide COI (Certificate Of Insurance), listing homeowner as additional insured
• Guests are advised to obtain photo/filming permits from City of OC (at least 3 business days prior to booking). By booking this home you hereby accept that you comply with Photo and Film Ordinances of the City of OC and take any and all responsibility related to the City's requirements and penalties.
• Please be notified that there are several indoor and outdoor security cameras that are active all the time and by booking this place you acknowledge and agree to recordings and monitoring for security purposes.
• For more than 4 vehicles/trucks crew parking permit is required by the city.
• Please do not block the sidewalk, neighbor’s driveways, or congregate in front of their homes
• Property manager/project manager or one property owners may access and be present part time or full time on site to monitor compliance and address if the guests have any needs. If you don't want any property manager/owner on site, please inform the host prior to the production day.
• Trash must be taken out at the end of your booking and placed in the outdoor dumpster. An additional fee may apply for left-over trash removal at Host's discretion. Guests are encouraged to take all trash upon end of booking to avoid this fee.
• Any damage to the property during the rental period is the responsibility of the production and / or production company and may be charged to the guest.
