The loft is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with several desk/workspaces and is bursting with special details, such as original piping from the unit's soda factory days, 14-ft tall floor-to-ceiling built-in wooden bookshelf, and dozens of plants and greenery. The loft is covered with artwork on every wall and has elevated pops of color throughout. This loft is truly meant for those with an elevated design eye. The loft has a huge living room area with floor-to-ceiling gallery walls of artwork from all over the world. The open-concept kitchen has updated appliances and a beautifully unique black marble free-standing island that is great for cooking or kitchen content. The unit also has an oven, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer unit. The huge primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with a golden canopy frame. Access to the master bedroom is allowed but if shooting in the master bedroom, you must bring your own sheets/bed linens. Access to the primary bathroom is restricted due to renovation. Rooftop access is available on a request basis. Our rooftop has incredible views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Only 2-3 people can be on the rooftop at once as this is a shared space with the rest of the building. The owner must be present for rooftop access. It is important to know this is our primary residence. The ideal guest is someone who is very clean, appreciates design and architecture, and will help take care of our beautiful loft. Designed and built as an experiment in the possibilities of loft living, surreality and commercial space, The Love Shack is one open main space with other small spaces inside the two human-size dollhouses, creating a unique Alice in Wonderland magical experience. In this unique loft conversion almost every piece of furniture you see is an original design or an antique that has been heavily modified and restored. Max capacity 50 standing, no more than 40 recommended. Casual seating around the space for up to 25, including the possibility of a formal dining setup for 10. (Alternatively, folding table and chairs may be brought in to seat 20 for dinner parties at additional cost.) Full working kitchen. Excellent sound system connects via Bluetooth. HD video projection on to 7ft x 4ft screen via HDMI, Thunderbolt or Display Port from your laptop or phone. ------ House Rules: Renter must book all time needed in the space, including for setup and cleanup. Trash and recyclables must be separated and left bagged up in the garden to avoid additional garbage handling fee. Everything else brought into the space must be removed by the end time. $750-$1000 security deposit (varies by type of rental) will be held separately and refunded the next business day following event, pending no damages or overtime. Overtime is strict and charged per half hour or part thereof. No smoking of any kind indoors, that is welcome in the garden only. Absolutely no use of smoke/haze/mist/fog machines. No use of decorations or anything else that sheds glitter please. Perfect for rehearsals, classes that involve movement (yoga, improv, etc.), film shoots, and of course performances! The stage space is 16 feet wide by 13 feet deep. A set of curtains separate the stage from the backstage space. Backstage, you'll find a green screen wall, a mini fridge, a couch, armchairs, and Keurig coffee machine - please feel free to use what you'd like! The stage right wall of the theater is a deep, rich, unique purple color. Tech booth, sound board, and basic lighting board are available, as are regular house lights. We have risers set up, as well as 36 seats, and we can seat up to 50 people by adding additional chairs. Please note that you're welcome to use everything, but please keep in mind that this is a theater venue, not a blank event space. We cannot remove risers. We are also a theater venue in that we are not a concert venue. While we've had musicians, student concerts, musicals, and other things of that nature in the space, we're not set up to host events as if we were the Barclays Center. We're a blackbox theatre venue, we can't accommodate music that shakes the building or audiences that want to slam around the space. UPDATED HOST RULES FOR CLARITY: - Rental hours are billed from beginning of set up, to end of clean up - this means that the time you book is the time that you have. We often have multiple bookings in a row, so we cannot accommodate surprise early in times or extra load out times. - Please do not bring in your own sound systems. We're not that kind of space. - Alcohol can be served, but not sold. - We do not have a kitchen, but catered events are welcome! This "only in New York" kitchen studio was built out from a raw space in a converted warehouse near the revitalized waterfront in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood. It has the charm of an old factory--high ceilings, original exposed brick, thick wooden beams, wood floors, and an open layout. It has a well organized, flexible, and professionally stocked kitchen and the room can convert to an intimate dining space for up to 35 people. But the space is flexible, with movable and foldable tables, and may be used for a range of different projects and events. A wall of natural light makes it ideal for photo and video shoots. It's been used for everything from cocktail parties to team building retreats to art classes to pop up dinners.

The bar is a bright, rustic corner bar in Clinton Hill close to the Classon G train. We have room for over 90 people, a full bar, a dozen beers on draft, and a nice selection of wines. We hope to see you soon!
