Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$175/hour (i.e. $240/hr (base) + $175/hr (film surcharge)) = $415/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to the need for multiple scouts, heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots. Additional costs: - 1x $500 Site Rep Fee - 1x $400 Cleaning Fee Finally, we require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (5x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-10 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot. Someone from our team will be on site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify head count and that all rules are followed. We have a 10 hour minimum, if you book for 6 hours you will be charged for 10 hours. If you book for 6 hours, you must still let us know if your schedule shifts. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to simply schedule yourself for the full 10 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time. Large impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule. We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. Upon booking this location it's required to sign a Location Agreement. Absence of a signed Location Agreement can lead to the host canceling the booking. Crews should be aware that the Location runs on normal household power circulation and that they would need to arrange for an external power generator themselves may they have any Heavy Equipment in their EQ Package. Our facility is 2,000 sq ft w/ 15 foot ceilings, designed not only record an orchestra, but also as a creative space to host photo shoots, film screenings, intimate live performances, or VIP listening parties. We are a classic, large-format big room, analog and digital recording studio nestled in South Williamsburg. This hand-built space features Protools HD 32 I/O, 2 inch Studer A827 24 track analog tape machine, a fully restored Harrison 4032c 40-channel analog recording console (same series the Thriller album was recorded on), a baby grand Yamaha piano, an impressive mic collection, and more. Please note while our usual people cap is much higher, we have temporarily capped count at 10 -15 people as per our new COVID-19 protocols to ensure proper social distancing. We have many other measures in place to continue hosting safe productions at our space, including new cleaning / sanitization protocols, placement of HEPA air filters, private testing options with fast turnarounds, etc. Note, use of our control room is now only permitted for special circumstances and for an additional fee. We are also a fantastic space for off-site meetings. Our beautiful pre-war machine shop in the heart of Williamsburg showcases 1920s’ chic decor, exposed brick and soaring ceilings. This listing is for the entire building which includes the first floor gallery, second floor vintage loft, and roof deck. The loft visually immerses you in nostalgia with its vintage furniture and classic speakeasy vibe. Bright, modern, spacious 3,000 sqft Brooklyn brownstone with clean minimalist decor and full of iconic mid-century modern furniture. The soaring 11 foot ceilings and the back wall made entirely of glass create a sunlight-flooded and airy living space on the first floor. The master bedroom has 20 foot ceilings, providing extra drama to an elegantly furnished room. The master bathroom has floor to ceiling marble and a large soaking tub. The nursery is warm and cozy with a Scandinavian aesthetic. Both the nursery and an additional bedroom on the third floor (not pictured) face south and have great sunlight all year round.
