We are a creative hub for production and events in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We are located in a fully renovated 1920s industrial space in Sunset Park that was once a patisserie and paint distribution factory. The ground floor is a 5,000 sq. ft. pristine event venue with 17 ft. ceilings and exclusive street level access delivered as a flexible white box with authentic historic architectural details that retain hints of the building’s past. The ground floor event space is ideal for photo shoots, music video production, film shoots, brand collaborations, fashion shows, art installations, lectures, weddings, parties and dinners. A large central skylight provides dynamic natural light. Two historic steel support columns were left intentionally in their found condition to add warmth and authenticity to the architecture. Second Floor Studios 10 and 12 are 5-600 square feet with 10 ft. ceilings that can accommodate exhibitions, workshops, lectures, performances and photoshoots. The roof deck is available for intimate gatherings, photoshoots and film screenings during the warmer months with views of historic Sunset Park. A small food prep area is provided.

Our storefront is well-suited for hosting a pop up event, brand launch or private function. With its corner location and close proximity to public transportation, the store is easily accessible. At approximately 850 square feet, it is large enough and has the flexibility for multiple uses. The space can host corporate events, presentations, lectures, classes or workshops, social occasions like baby showers, anniversaries, children’s birthday parties, and dinner parties. It can accommodate up to 20 people for a seated event and up to 40 people standing for a cocktail reception. With its expansive windows, the space has an open feel and is filled with natural light. Extra features include a remote controlled HVAC, a coat rack for your guests and a kitchen prep area. We are located at the corner of Ralph and Putnam. The Putnam Avenue side offers a great backdrop for pictures. The store has a classic frontage. Our storefront space has a street level entrance that is wheelchair accessible. Our subway stop is the J at Gates Avenue which is three blocks away and 20 minutes from downtown Manhattan. Ralph Avenue has become one of the most commercially served corridors in Bedford Stuyvesant. Within six blocks of the venue there is an abundance of eateries and bars including Chez Alex, Toad Style, Grandchamps, Bed-Stuy Fish-Fry, Sofia and Grace Cookie Company as well as plethora of retailers and storefront businesses such as Bank of America, The Bar Boutique, a Blink Fitness Gym and Red Planet Muay Thai. Perfect for rehearsals, classes that involve movement (yoga, improv, etc.), film shoots, and of course performances! The stage space is 16 feet wide by 13 feet deep. A set of curtains separate the stage from the backstage space. Backstage, you'll find a green screen wall, a mini fridge, a couch, armchairs, and Keurig coffee machine - please feel free to use what you'd like! The stage right wall of the theater is a deep, rich, unique purple color. Tech booth, sound board, and basic lighting board are available, as are regular house lights. We have risers set up, as well as 36 seats, and we can seat up to 50 people by adding additional chairs. Please note that you're welcome to use everything, but please keep in mind that this is a theater venue, not a blank event space. We cannot remove risers. We are also a theater venue in that we are not a concert venue. While we've had musicians, student concerts, musicals, and other things of that nature in the space, we're not set up to host events as if we were the Barclays Center. We're a blackbox theatre venue, we can't accommodate music that shakes the building or audiences that want to slam around the space. UPDATED HOST RULES FOR CLARITY: - Rental hours are billed from beginning of set up, to end of clean up - this means that the time you book is the time that you have. We often have multiple bookings in a row, so we cannot accommodate surprise early in times or extra load out times. - Please do not bring in your own sound systems. We're not that kind of space. - Alcohol can be served, but not sold. - We do not have a kitchen, but catered events are welcome!
