Sky Mountain Villa is a modern, architectural masterpiece nestled on 20 acres in the famous Topa Topa Mountains. The property is designed to blend effortlessly with the surrounding nature of the Los Padres Forest offering panoramic views of the mountainous valley by day and a planetarium experience throughout the night; You will feel like you are worlds away, while being just 5 minutes from Ojai’s quaint town center. The expansive, uninterrupted mountain views create the ideal location for productions, retreats, and photo shoots. The Sky Mountain Villa open floor plan offers hair/makeup rooms, multiple bathrooms and several options for base-camp, digital tech setup, and staging. The property has options available for parking up to 30 cars upon request. Additionally, there is a separate garage workspace with glass garage doors available upon request. Within the 20 acre estate, the two private homes, Sky Mountain Villa and Infinity Bungalows, are close enough to walk or drive between, if you should book both, but they are also far enough apart with separate entrances to ensure complete privacy during your stay.

A private 50 acre retreat nestled inside the Santa Monica Mountains, a short commute from Los Angeles and minutes away from Malibu’s Finest Beaches. The retreat is surrounded by national reserve, providing a uniquely secluded location. The compound consists of banquet halls, conference rooms, bungalows/cabins, modular homes, garage, barn, gazebo, out buildings, pool, 2 upgraded working wells and hundreds of mature Oak Trees. A year round creek extends the full length of the property with an Arizonia Crossing that leads to an extensive connecting trail system, helicopter pad, elevated viewing pads, tennis court, natural corral, an amphitheater and multiple outdoor event spaces. The property is uniquely zoned R & R which allows for multiple operations.

Our inspiration to launch in 2009 stemmed from a vision to build a space where the lines of work and play were blurred. Located at the south end of L.A.’s downtown Arts District, our space is a historic Art Deco bank, turned photo studio and event space, featuring its original bank vault built in 1923, elegant 19’ ceilings with authentic pillar sculpture, and custom lighting installations by architectural designer, Brian Thoreen. This 4,300 square foot two-story venue is an ideal space for events, film & photo shoots, and art exhibitions.

This striking space is part of a 16-unit complex designed between 1926 and 1939 by R.M. Schindler​, one of the forefathers of Modern architecture, on a street-to-street downward sloping lot in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Schindler’s client for the project was his friend Herman Sachs, a Romanian-born muralist and decorator known for his work on the Bullocks Wilshire Building, Union Station, and City Hall. Synonymous with old Hollywood glamour, the apartment at this Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument feels like being in a bygone era. It’s an inspiring space, with improbably high ceilings and a huge window showcasing the unobstructed views overlooking Los Feliz, the iconic Hollywood sign, and the Griffith Observatory. The space employs extensive use of glass, plaster, and wood – characteristics of the Modernist style with which Schindler is usually associated – in addition to a distinctive art deco flair. Sachs was known for using his studio loft workspace as a gathering space, often hosting dinners and concerts for his coterie of bohemian friends. During a painstaking three year restoration, the original cabinetry, finishes, and Schindler-designed furniture were carefully researched and, wherever possible, restored or re-created. The first floor space has an airy, open concept living/dining room and full kitchen, in addition to a half bath and large closet/storage space (in addition to a Origin Acoustics 7.1 surround-sound speaker system with six recessed speakers and subwoofer, Paradigm soundbar, high-end projector, and hanging art installation system. Use of these features may be possible, depending on the intended usage). The second floor space has a sleeping space with daybed, full bathroom, and entryway/office that is ideal for hair and makeup. Schindler was a genius at window placement - natural light streams throughout every nook and cranny of the apartment. The Platform Home designed furniture (tables, stacking chairs, couch, hexagon seater, stools, daybed, etc.) has been selected for easy breakdown or reconfiguration, making the apartment an ideal setting for a multitude of shoots and events.

The 1920's house is located in the Hollywood Hills close to public transport. The neighborhood is called the Hollywood Dell and is part of "Old Hollywood." The home is decorated in an eclectic mix of ethnic and European antiques. The large tropical garden is ideal for a shoot that could be either in the jungle or a place owned by a bohemian local. The interior is around 1500 square feet and the lot it sits on is approximately over quarter of an acre. Pricing is based on 15 person maximum. For larger groups, additional fees will be applied. $100 cleaning/prep fee. Monday - Friday: Plenty of FREE street parking on 38th street. The main street has No Parking from 4 pm - 6 pm. We also have a LOADING ZONE RIGHT IN FRONT of the studio, which makes loading in and out super easy!

Artist Studio in Treehouse Cabin with natural trails on spacious property Nestled in the heart of Topanga this 2 acres property features a rustic treehouse cabin with a large artist studio on the second level. The studio area has vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, 2 skylights, bamboo floors, 3 glass sliding doors and lots of natural light. The studio also has a wood deck that wraps around 2 sides of the structure, overlooking the creek. Below the studio treehouse, there is an open-air space with concrete floors that works great for staging and other various production needs. This area has optional canvas curtains for more privacy and can also be utilized for filming if it fits your location needs. This treehouse studio is situated in the center of our grounds offering easy access to all other areas around the property! Surrounding the treehouse there is a large yard that can be used and shot in various ways. Set builds are okay in this outdoor space with prior discussion and approval. The other exterior areas of the property are easily walkable and include a natural wood bridge that overlooks the natural creek-bed, which winds through the heart of the property. With several access points, this creek-bed creates our own private hiking trail encompassed with enchanting oaks, sycamores, and eucalyptus trees. There are also several vantages points to shoot the creek from high angles. Additional interior areas may be available upon request and on a case by case basis. A generator is available onsite for excess power capabilities. The on-site manager will also be available during shoots. Parking for up to 9 vehicles or 4 trailers on site, as well as street parking available on the boulevard. There is a nearby lot ( 2 min drive) available for rent for multiple large trailers, production trucks, and shuttle service. This property has been used in several films including Prizzi's Honor directed by John Huston.
