Our studio is located in the heart of Union Square. This 4000 Sq ft Suite offers space for various usages. As soon as you step through the door, you’ll enter into THE SALON, a museum style room with art displayed from photographer Gabriel Johnson. Then the space is split into 2 sections we call the East, and West Wing. Photo studio usage and classes/lectures is the most common uses for the space. We also host various events, exhibitions, meetings and video shoots. Add-ons are available by request, such as digital workstation or exclusive handpainted canvas backdrops. We also have 2 very useful MOVEABLE 8x8ft walls. (Rental comes equipped with light stands, c-stands, strobe lights and modifiers) Full Studio has East and West facing windows/daylight where you'll get beautiful soft daylight, all day long. Entire suite comes with 2 different studios built with a L-shaped CYC wall, seamless backdrop paper, white exposed brick and a mobile wall, enabling various arrangements to be made. Or you could just rent the entire suite with 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, and our infamous MIRROR MAKEUP ROOM. Entire area could fit about 200 PEOPLE standing. Each studio comes also with projector for conference meetings/classes/presentations. Accessible within a 2 block radius from almost every train.

This is an industrial loft with exposed brick and a lot of charm! Right on the waterfront in Brooklyn, you have great views of Manhattan. We have plants, natural light, and desks + chairs in a design studio setting. Great as a backdrop for interviews, as well as filming where you need both a white wall space and a brick wall, since we have both you can create multiple atmospheres. We recently painted the floor a light grey color to brighten the space, and rearranged the furniture - so the images with the light floor are the most updated! Perfect for a "design studio" set, as this space functions as a design studio when not booked. Desks and chairs are in the space and available for use. Perfect for documentary interviews and we have done many in the space! Lots of character and there are brick walls as well as white walls. We are ok with flexible hours and late nights! The building has a lot of production going on so very production friendly, with two large elevators and a loading area. Freight elevator is 24/7 and loading area allows for temporary parking while unloading.

FotoLab Studio is divided into two private rooms each with full camera, lighting, and equipment setup so that you can take studio quality photos without the need for a photographer. Our communal space features a couch, designer mustache chairs, and a Persian rug that makes it perfect for comfortable seating and chatting. We also have a concrete block front desk with a metal finish table top that is perfect for welcoming guests. Did we mention we're also plant lovers? Find your bird's of paradise, cacti, and fig plants floating around as well. One person will be on staff at all times to also help you access everything you need.
